OWHC TEENS IN ACTION

PURIM FOOD DRIVE

Please support the OWHC teens as they replenish the shelves of a local food pantry.

OWHC FRIENDS & FAMILY:

In the spirit of  Purim please join us in a community-wide effort to feed the hungry.  Drop off cans, boxes and non-perishable food items* (within expiration dates)  now through March 20th so that by Purim we will be ready to deliver food, in the spirit of Shaloch Manos, to our neighbors in need.

OWHC TEENS

Sign up to participate in a hands-on mitzvah project and

receive community service credit for your time and effort.

March 20th schedule:

12:30 pm        meet at OWHC

1-2:30 pm       Work together on site to replenish/ organize food pantry in Glen Cove

(A few parents may be needed to help carpool students to site.)

3:00-4:15 pm Return to OWHC for a pizza seudah with

                       Rabbi Stanger and Cantor  Karavani

*In addition to canned goods, we will also be collecting

JEANS, T-SHIRTS and SWEATSHIRTS.

(no other donations will be accepted at this time)

Teens interested must rsvp by March 10th.
